The 3rd Annual Quail Hollow Christian Survivor was awesome!! The weather was nice for the first half of the event. The second half was a different story. The Survivors faced chilly temperatures on Friday and Saturday but fought through the cold to persevere. The final two this year were Alex and Houston with Elizabeth placing third. Thanks to the following folks for making this year's event so special. A special congratulations goes out to our 2008 Quail Hollow Christian Survivor Champion Houston Lattimore!!!

2nd annual Quail Hollow Christian Survivor
The week was a huge success! We battled through changing weather conditions that included lows as low as the upper 30s and highs as high as the mid 70s. We had two rainy nights and some fierce winds. The competitors lived up to the name of the game though. They were truly SURVIVORS! We had an all female final two this year with Marlee and Beth outlasting the competition. Thanks to all of the following for making this years event a great experience. We had over 60 in attendance for the Wednesday and Sunday services. 1st annual Christian Survivor at Quail Hollow
WOW!!!! What an awesome time we had this past week. The Lord blessed us with beautiful weather (except for Saturday morning around 4 AM) and we had an amazing time. I want to personally thank all of the participants for playing the game and taking the opportunity to get to know God better. Jeremy (Bingo), Casey, Tony, Matt, Brian, and Tripp were the true epitome of survivors!!!. You guys (and girl) were one of the best groups of young people that we have ever had the pleasure of being around. We also want to recognize Bingo for being named Quail Hollow Christian Survivor Champion for 2006. We also want to thank the 50 plus people that joined us for worship on Sunday morning. Hearing your prayers and voices in song outside in God's creation is something that I'll never forget.
